Michelle Gonzalez-Basin (she/her) is a Latina Mental Health Counseling graduate student at the University of Miami. She is completing her clinical training at Gatewell Therapy Center and offers services in English and Spanish in-person and virtually throughout Florida. Michelle has experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through crisis intervention, behavioral health, and educational settings. Her clinical interests include anxiety, OCD, self-esteem, body image concerns, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Michelle takes a warm, person-centered approach and strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. Outside of counseling, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and exploring new coffee shops and restaurants around Miami.
