As you realize you're not getting what you want out of your life, you see just how much you get in your own way.

This self-sabotaging keeps you from curating the experiences you know you want to have with others and yourself. So you continue to feel stuck.

You know you're ready to use your strengths to solve your problems. Gatewell can help.

You’ve always believed there was a manual for life. And if you worked hard enough and followed the instructions, you’d get the outcome you wanted. But the manual didn’t allow for ambiguity or unforeseen circumstances. And every time you felt uncertainty, or fear, or sadness, you pushed these feelings away so you could stay on course.

When you look at your life today, you realize that despite following the instructions, something is missing. You can’t figure out why you’re in distress when you do everything you were supposed to do.

You’re struggling to open yourself up to people and possibilities and, on your worst days, you can’t even see what you have to offer.

Well, we’re here to tell you you’re more valuable than you think.

Being afraid to reveal the true you does not mean that you aren’t worth seeing. You have the resilience to get back out there and try again.

At Gatewell Therapy Center, we know that:

You are uniquely powerful.

Sometimes, when things go off track, your emotions surge and you feel out of control. And you often turn to behaviors that distract you from the pain. But this distraction is short lived.

When you engage in these behaviors, you’re actually creating new problems for yourself.

This doesn’t mean you can’t tolerate the tough times. It simply means you need to come face to face with your emotions so you’ll fear them less and ultimately find more control.

We get it.

Moving toward something painful is challenging. It’s much easier to avoid. And at Gatewell, we’ll help you recognize your ability to create a more fulfilling narrative for yourself.
