Cristina Sanchez (she/her) is a second-year graduate student in the counseling program at the University of Miami. She comes to Gatewell with prior private practice experience. Cristy has co-facilitated group therapy sessions with adolescents and teaches Psychology to high school students. She enjoys working with individuals across the age spectrum, and her areas of specialization include self-awareness, self-esteem, and grief and loss. Because she lost her sister at a young age, Cristy is particularly aware of the difficulties that accompany losing a loved one and feels passionate about helping others who are going through similar experiences. Her work is directly supervised by Dr. Stacey Rosenfeld.
Jennifer Tejada (she/her) is a second-year graduate student in the counseling program at the University of Miami. She has experience working as a research assistant at an anxiety research lab and as an intake specialist at a mental health clinic. While she has worked with different age populations, she is especially drawn to working with young adults. As a Latina, Jennifer is specifically attuned to the intersection between culture and anxiety and/or trauma. Her services are offered in English and Spanish, and her work is directly supervised by Dr. Stacey Rosenfeld.
