Cristina Sanchez (she/her) is a second-year graduate student in the counseling program at the University of Miami. She comes to Gatewell with prior private practice experience. Cristy has co-facilitated group therapy sessions with adolescents and teaches Psychology to high school students. She enjoys working with individuals across the age spectrum, and her areas of specialization include self-awareness, self-esteem, and grief and loss. Because she lost her sister at a young age, Cristy is particularly aware of the difficulties that accompany losing a loved one and feels passionate about helping others who are going through similar experiences. Her work is directly supervised by Dr. Stacey Rosenfeld.
Jennifer Tejada (she/her) is a second-year graduate student in the counseling program at the University of Miami. She has experience working as a research assistant at an anxiety research lab and as an intake specialist at a mental health clinic. While she has worked with different age populations, she is especially drawn to working with young adults. As a Latina, Jennifer is specifically attuned to the intersection between culture and anxiety and trauma. Her services are offered in English and Spanish, and her work is directly supervised by Dr. Stacey Rosenfeld.
